Overview
Reconciliation - M3Leads a large, or multiple, team(s) responsible for large-scale projects with activities that include daily reconciliations, identifying system issues and making adjustments correctly. Supports the development of procedures and processes for the Reconciliation function within the business unit. Resolves complex or serious issues escalated by the team. Oversees and manages the implementation of new system enhancements. Actively engages and provides recommendations to the development of new enhancements and initiatives. Leverages an advanced understanding of tools to identify the most complex breaks. Synthesizes and analyzes function reporting of daily, weekly and monthly suspense and depository reconciliations. Leads regulatory reporting for large or multiple team(s).Maintains relationships with internal stakeholders to assess issues and recommend strategic solutions. May provide forward-looking and strategic insight on reconciliations. Provides input into the strategy around new technology solutions or improvements for new and existing business needs. Oversees implementation across team(s). Monitors and reviews feedback to ensure new solutions are meeting business needs. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback in the most critical of times. Manages one or more teams of Reconciliation staff, may manage through subordinate managers. Contributes to the achievement of team(s) objectives. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.16+ years of total work experience with at least 8+ years in management preferred. Experience in brokerage/banking operations/ reconciliation processes preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business..
