This position does not carry a direct sales quota. Instead, it focuses on enabling informed decision-making, aligning customer needs with internal capabilities, and ensuring OEM initiatives are strategically sound, commercially viable, and operationally executable.

The role requires frequent collaboration across time zones, including periodic, non-continuous engagement during China business hours.

Procurement models, supplier structure, and OEM / ODM history
Organizational structure, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes
Develop structured Account Profiles and Account Maps highlighting opportunity areas, entry paths, competitive positioning, and decision dynamics
Evaluate each account’s strategic value, revenue potential, and risk profile using data-driven and qualitative analysis
Synthesize market, customer, and internal data into clear insights to support account prioritization and strategy development

3. OEM / ODM Strategy & Project Scoping

Partner with Sales during OEM / ODM discussions to:
Clarify customer requirements (features, specifications, cost targets, timelines, compliance)
Assess feasibility, commercial viability, and execution risks
Translate customer needs into well-defined project scopes, including:
High-level product and technical direction
Preliminary cost ranges and timeline assumptions
Key constraints, dependencies, and risk factors
Consolidate inputs from customer feedback, factory technical assessments, internal reviews, and market research to surface key questions and decision points early
Collaborate with Product, R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to develop customer-facing OEM solution frameworks

4. OEM Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the project owner or core coordinator for OEM / ODM projects during early and/or full project lifecycle
Manage multiple projects in parallel, ensuring alignment on scope, cost, timeline, and feasibility
Define and track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) and China-based manufacturing partners
Proactively identify and manage risks related to cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and compliance
Provide clear, action-oriented project updates and decision support to stakeholders and management at critical milestones

5. Data Analysis, Reporting & Decision Support

Conduct OEM / ODM–related data analysis, including:
Project tracking and performance reporting
Market and competitive analysis (e.g., China and North America markets)
Support ETL, data consolidation, and reporting efforts to improve visibility and decision quality
Maintain accurate project documentation and analytical outputs to support ongoing and future initiatives

6. Knowledge Development & Process Optimization

Conduct post-project and post-engagement reviews for strategic accounts and OEM / ODM initiatives
