Qualifications
4+ years of experience across Testing and Software Development using a major programming language (JavaScript, Python, C++, Java, C#, etc.)
An understanding of modern design patterns and proven experience applying them
Have a desire for learning and developing yourself
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with Git
Knowledge of BDD and TDD Frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium and Jest
A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
Passion for testing and experience in backend or frontend testing frameworks
Proven expertise in driving automated testing utilizing the latest technology stack
Experience creating automation frameworks
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis or TeamCity
Understanding of Trading applications
Knowledge of the FIX protocol
Responsibilities
The team performs testing on Tradebook's execution platforms and operates in an Agile environment with collaborative interactions with other internal teams
The role entails outlining and implementing a test strategy in order to ensure delivery of world-class software to our clients
Ensure the quality of our Execution product offerings through automated testing
Solve problems independently and in partnership with others in a team setting
Perform functional and non-functional software testing on Tradebook's execution platforms
Work with the Quality Engineering, Application Engineering, and Product teams to scale the automated testing needs with tight timelines

We partner with leading brokers to provide multi-asset and multi-exchange access to our clients right through the Bloomberg Terminal as well as via API (FIX & BLPAPI).

Tradebook's Quality Engineering (QE) team is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with experience in testing to join our team. The team performs testing on Tradebook's execution platforms and operates in an Agile environment with collaborative interactions with other internal teams.
