Role Key Responsibilities · The role supports the middle market leverage lending team of a large European based investment bank · The analyst will be responsible for the following: – Preparation and input in the bank’s scorecard to generate internal risk reading for underlying borrowers – Preparation of detailed credit one-pagers including financial and business profile, risks and mitigants – Monitoring of leveraged lending portfolio on ongoing basis Other job responsibilities – Work on sector presentations/portfolio reviews – Involved in credit appraisal discussion with internal risk team and with private equity clients, co-investors at a later stage – Review of the loan credit agreement to evaluate collaterals, guarantees and other covenants Loan portfolio database update and generation of quarterly performance reportCandidate Profile:· 2-7 years of industry experience in credit research of corporates (preferably High yield/leveraged lending)· Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, financial statements and calculation of key credit metrics· Excellent written and oral communication skills· Independent and decisive mind-set· Ability to work under stringent timelinesEssential Qualifications: CA/MBA (Finance) Required abilities Physical: Other: Work Environment Details: Specific requirements Travel: Vehicle: Work Permit: Other details Pay Rate: Contract Types: Time Constraints: Compliance Related: Union Affiliation
