Job Description
Infiswift Technologies is looking for a strong backend engineer for the team that is developing an exciting generative AI product for its customers. The core features of the AI solution include CAD drawing digitization, LLM based document and drawing data extraction and automated 3D CAD model generation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side applications and AI-driven services. You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Note: This is a contract-to-hire position for 40 hours per week, initially for 6 months. Based on your performance, you may be considered for permanent employment.
2-5 years of relevant work experience is required excluding internships.
Minimum qualifications:
Ability to write solid code in Python with minimal supervision Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python. Architect and optimize database schemas and data pipelines for efficiency. Implement best practices for security, performance, and maintainability. Working knowledge of GitHub copilot and other AI based code autogeneration tools Ability to develop and troubleshoot distributed system components including MySQL-compliant databases Solid foundation of data structures and algorithms Solid understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous I/O, message queues and networking Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics. Experience building LLM based products. SQL database knowledge and experience. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Desirable qualifications:
Familiarity with machine learning models using Python. Experience in data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering. Ability to train and evaluate machine learning models. Knowledge of tools to integrate models into production systems.
