In-Hand salary per month: INR 50K - 1.3L
Company Description
Asgard.world is a new metaverse with a tokenised marketplace for products, services and assets. With a launch set in 2026, Asgardians will be able to use digital coins and tokens to facilitate commerce, creativity and gamification.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Python Developer at Asgard.world. The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions within the Asgard ecosystem. The Senior Python Developer will also be involved in the design, implementation, and coding of the platform, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
To develop code in python, working with the API integration team. This includes, among other things:
1. Configure an EC2 instance on AWS to execute long running jobs and share data with other AWS services.
2. Install and set up Playwright on an EC2 instance to enable browser-rendered spiders, allowing for more complex website scraping capabilities.
3. POCs on scrapy and non-scrapy framework and compare their performance, reliability, ease of development, and cost with the current implementation.
4. Develop APIs to allow other application to integrate.
5. Other tasks as required by the API integration team.
Key Skills & Experience
1. 4+ years of professional experience in Python development, demonstrating proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
2. Strong knowledge of AWS services, with 3-4 years of hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure using EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, VPC, and networking components.
3. Familiarity with AWS SDKs, specifically boto3 or botocore, for seamless interaction with AWS services.
4. Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
5. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and deliver high-quality results.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.
7. Good to have – AI experience and leveraging AI cloud tools, such as SageMaker or similar platforms.
