Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Production Support Engineer to join our team in Hyderābād. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with expertise in Struts-based monolith applications. You will be responsible for managing and resolving production issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert support for Struts-based monolith applications.
• Navigate and troubleshoot issues using IBM WebSphere and the IBM Admin Console.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective fixes.
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, logging discrepancies, and managing tickets.
• Work independently to manage production issues end-to-end, including analyzing logs, debugging, and applying fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Document solutions and processes in SharePoint for knowledge-sharing purposes.
• Adapt to legacy systems and processes specific to the insurance domain.
Required Skills
• 5-10 years of professional experience in Java development, with expertise in Struts-based monolith applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere and IBM Admin Console.
• Proficiency in analyzing and resolving production issues.
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident management.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA as the primary development environment.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills for providing updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exposure to debugging and fixing performance issues in production environments is preferred.
