Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Define and drive the goal, strategy, and roadmap for personalization in Google Maps Personalization, including both the end user experiences and capabilities required to build an experience at the scale of Google.
Use your AI fluency and creative thinking to quickly understand a rapidly changing agentic AI landscape, and define a path to bring capabilities to Maps.
Bring cross-functional teams across Google along, fold in multiple view points, find a path forward balancing stakeholder feedback.
Have high AI fluency and be able to quickly understand the changing AI landscape in order to identify the opportunities to bring state of the art experiences to users.
Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure business and user impact.
