We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Plumbing Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of Plumbing & Public Health Engineering (PHE) systems for large-scale industrial, commercial, semiconductor, data centre, battery manufacturing, and infrastructure projects. The candidate should be capable of independently handling complete design deliverables, technical coordination, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design of Plumbing & Public Health Engineering (PHE) systems.
• Prepare water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, rainwater harvesting, and water treatment system designs.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pump head calculations, pipe sizing, tank sizing, and equipment selection.
• Develop design calculations, technical specifications, BOQs, material take-offs, and tender documents.
• Review and approve design drawings prepared by design engineers and draftsmen.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, ELV, Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, IPC, UPC, local authority regulations, and client standards.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical solutions.
• Review vendor technical submittals and respond to client comments.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure timely project delivery.
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in Plumbing & Public Health Engineering Design.
• Hands-on experience in hydraulic calculations and plumbing system design.
• Excellent knowledge of NBC, IS Codes, IPC/UPC, and relevant international standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client coordination skills.
Qualification
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Relevant certifications in Plumbing/PHE will be an added advantage.
Experience
• 15–20 years of experience in Plumbing Design Engineering.
• Experience in handling EPC/Industrial/Commercial projects is mandatory.
• Exposure to Semiconductor, Data Centre, Battery Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, or Large Industrial projects will be preferred.
• Experience working on L&T or similar leading EPC projects will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
