Senior oracle apex developer Experience: 6-+ years Location: Remote Responsibilities : • Provide hands-on knowledge transfer to mid-level resources and assist in resolving administration-related requests from end-users through Zendesk. This includes configuring permissions, addressing calculation-related questions, fulfilling reporting requests, and resolving integration issues. • Lead the creation of a comprehensive runbook to address the most common scenarios, enabling a lower-level resource to take over NRES administration tasks. • Assess and upgrade the current Oracle/Apex implementation. Collaborate with the team to clean up the code base by removing extraneous applications and legacy code that is no longer relevant. Once the cleanup is complete, lead the upgrade to the latest stable version (1+C) of Oracle and Apex. • Participate in an architectural assessment to determine which functionality should remain with NRES and what should be offloaded to Salesforce. Evaluate data synchronization between the systems and work on defining the system of record for different data types. Utilize the new MuleSoft integration layer to streamline and optimize integrations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify NRES changes as part of the architectural assessment and implement the necessary modifications. • Work independently to organize and execute high-level directives, acting as a consultant-type resource within the team. Qualifications : • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. • Extensive experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities. • Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL. • Proven expertise in Oracle Application Express (APEX) development, including upgrading and code cleanup. • Experience with administration-related tasks, such as permissions configuration and resolving end-user queries. • Familiarity with Salesforce integration and data synchronization. • Proficiency in creating runbooks and documentation for common scenarios. • Strong architectural assessment and analysis skills. • Experience working with MuleSoft or other integration tools. • Leadership skills and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering results. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
