Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM PST (Monday to Friday)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Integration Engineer with strong expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and automation technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating APIs, RPA, and document processing solutions to deliver end-to-end automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML and MuleSoft Anypoint Studio
Implement API policies and manage APIs via API Manager
Develop and maintain integration flows, including transformation, routing, error handling, retries, and logging
Build and manage BPMN workflows using MuleSoft RPA Manager
Configure Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) for document extraction
Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform unit testing
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and deliver integration requirements
Integrate systems including databases, message queues, and file-based systems (SFTP/FTP)
Support and maintain existing EDI integrations where required
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in MuleSoft components: API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, Anypoint MQ, RPA, and IDP
Experience with API-led connectivity and end-to-end automation (RPA + IDP)
Hands-on experience with Java, XML, JSON, and DataWeave
Solid understanding of middleware integration strategies, API management, SOA principles, and microservices architecture
Experience working with Salesforce/MuleSoft automation stack (Composer + RPA) is a plus
Familiarity with financial systems and SAP Business ByDesign is an advantage
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience in MuleSoft development and integration
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
