As a Senior Manager – Fraud Analytics, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to detect, prevent and respond to application fraud.

This is a highly hands-on role suited to an experienced analytics professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with data and influencing business outcomes through actionable insights.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across Business Banking, Risk, Financial Crime, Operations and Data Science teams to identify fraud risks, develop analytical solutions and drive meaningful improvements in fraud detection capability.

Working alongside other senior specialists, you will help uplift fraud analytics capability by leveraging modern analytical techniques, data science methods and large-scale data assets to address evolving fraud challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and enhancing fraud analytics models and strategies

Identifying emerging fraud trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis

Delivering insights that support fraud detection, prevention and investigation outcomes

Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to solve business problems using data

Translating complex analytical findings into practical business recommendations

Contributing to the ongoing evolution of fraud analytics and decisioning capability

Providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise within the fraud analytics domain

We're interested in hearing from people who:

Have significant experience in Fraud Analytics, Financial Crime Analytics, Risk Analytics or a related analytical discipline

Are highly hands-on and enjoy working directly with data to solve complex business problems

Have strong experience developing analytical solutions that drive measurable business outcomes

Can operate autonomously and influence stakeholders without relying on formal people leadership authority

Have strong commercial acumen and can balance analytical rigour with practical business outcomes

Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy building new capabilities from the ground up

Have experience partnering with business, risk, technology and operations teams

Technical Skills

We work across a broad range of analytics and data science tools and technologies. Experience in several of the following will be advantageous:

Advanced Python programming and analytics development

Statistical modelling and machine learning techniques

Fraud detection and risk modelling approaches

Large-scale data analysis and analytical solution design

Data visualisation and storytelling with data – Experience with Snowflake advantageous

Feature engineering, model optimisation and performance monitoring

Experimentation, hypothesis testing and analytical problem solving

Experience working with fraud, financial crime, credit risk or decisioning frameworks
