Role description
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Finance Expertise
Demonstrate strong functional knowledge across Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including - Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses and Tax
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Finance solutions aligned to business requirements.
Implementation & Project Leadership
Deliver 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementations as a functional lead.
Drive all phases of the implementation lifecycle:
Perform business process mapping, gap analysis, and creation of detailed functional design documentation.
Provide leadership for onshore/offshore delivery teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and on‑time delivery.
Handle direct client interactions, requirements gathering, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
Technical & Functional Deliverables
Lead functional design for: BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Dashboards, Oracle BPM workflows, Smart View integrations, Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Data conversions, Interfaces & integrations with third‑party systems
Support data migration strategy, mapping, validation, and reconciliation across multiple implementation cycles.
Apply methodologies such as Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or other structured implementation frameworks.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Execute and oversee end-to-end testing of all finance business processes.
Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and validation checklists ensuring compliance with business and audit requirements.
Additional Skills
Ability to work independently or support a distributed project team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Highly articulate communicator with the ability to present functional solutions to leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT preferred).
7–10 years’ experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
Successful delivery of multiple Oracle Cloud Finance implementations.
