Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing complex litigation matters aligned with clients' commercial objectives and risk considerations.
- Overseeing all aspects of dispute management from pleadings to case management, ensuring the highest standards of legal service.
- Providing practical and commercially focused legal solutions to clients on high-stakes disputes.
- Coordinating with senior counsel, external advisors, and stakeholders for effective representation and case outcomes.
- Mentoring and developing litigation teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on litigation and dispute resolution matters.
- Contributing to practice development initiatives, client engagement, and overall growth of the disputes practice.
In order to be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in General Litigation.
- Strong track record of independently handling complex and high-value litigation matters.
- Extensive experience appearing before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams while overseeing multiple significant mandates.
- Strong drafting, advocacy, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Commercially astute with the ability to provide pragmatic and solution-oriented legal advice.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding professional environment.
