As a Legal Adviser, you will be working under supervision to develop client-focused legal advice and support to Comcare staff on legal and policy matters. You will manage risk effectively and ensure that your workload is managed consistently with the APS Values and Code of Conduct, the Legal Services Directions 2017, and internal Comcare procedures.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
"
To be eligible for this role, you must have admission as a legal practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory. You must also hold a current Practising Certificate or be able to obtain one within three months.

Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment:

Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check) and Employee Health Declaration are required. A six-month probationary period applies to new engagements.
