About The Role
As a Design Associate, you will be responsible for understanding the client's requirements and specifications from designers during calls or in-person briefings/meetings. You will need to comprehend all key words modules and technical specifications within the Livspace category.
• Prepare detailed plans, wall-to-wall elevations with complete AutoCAD detailing for kitchens, wardrobes, and storage spaces.
• Develop all EPT and granite detailings for kitchen, wardrobe, and storage spaces.
• Create a bill of quantities (BOQ) on Livspace design tool Canvas.
• Generate coordinated design dockets relative to the BOQ with accurate annotation and detailing.
• Use standard drawing templates as specified by the central team.
• Analyze changes/errors pointed out by the validation team and incorporate them into the design docket.
• Maintain adherence to service level agreements (SLA) and quality standards for output.
• Attend training sessions for new module introductions by the category team and stay updated.
Required Skills And Expertise
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Diploma/degree in architecture or interior design is a plus.
• Experience ranges from 1 to 6 years.
• Previous experience as a kitchen designer or design associate or similar roles is preferred.
• Turnkey residential interiors experience is essential.
• Familiarity/knowledge in preparing false ceiling/reflected ceiling plan layouts is beneficial.
• Knowledge/experience in carpentry storage drawings preparation is advantageous.
• Electrical drawing knowledge/experience is desirable.
• Must be a quick learner.
• Attention to detail along with great team player skills are required.
