Role Description The Senior Interior Designer (Whitefield) will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from initial client consultation and concept development to final installation and handover. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves preparing design proposals, layouts, and mood boards, as well as coordinating detailed drawings and material specifications. The person in this role will oversee space planning, FF&E selection, and design documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements, budget, and timelines. They will work closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers, conduct site visits, manage quality checks, and guide junior team members throughout the design and execution process.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically cohesive residential interiors.
• Solid understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to interpret and coordinate technical documentation with project stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, sourcing, and specification aligned with design concepts and client needs.
• Professional experience managing end-to-end interior projects, including client communication, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign).
• Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into practical, creative solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior designers.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience as a senior or lead interior designer is highly beneficial.
