Key Responsibilities :
The successful candidate for this position will focus mainly on backend but projects involved may require end-to-end development, including UI/UX elements
Gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
Hands-on coding
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Work cross-functionally with various other teams, including product management, QA, teams from other product lines within ZineOne, and/or external business/design partners to drive forward results
Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected and elegant real-time and high-volume SaaS
Ancillary Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Education and Qualification :
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years of experience designing and developing Enterprise/SaaS software
Expertise in Java and OOP (object-oriented programming)
Ability to work in all parts of the code. Our team takes pride in taking up taks from the database level right up to HTML and Javascript
Strong understanding of distributed computing and code performance implications
Experience with REST Web Services, AWS, HBase, and MongoDB NoSQL database a plus
