Job Description
JJob Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
NOC Code: 21231 / 21232 (Software Engineers / Developers)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Salary: CAD $125,000 – $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Job Duties
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern technologies (React, Node.js, Python, etc.)
Lead full-stack development efforts across front-end and back-end systems
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
Implement security best practices across all software components
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Leading the design and development of the process modeling engine, including BPMN-based workflow and process architecture within the Klarify platform.
Defining and implementing system architecture decisions across the platform to support long-term scalability and maintainability.
Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure architecture on AWS, including system reliability and infrastructure design.
Designing and maintaining DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and continuous delivery.
Leading the frontend architecture, including component design patterns, state management, and UI performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of full-stack development experience
Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
Strong back-end development experience (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB)
Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring team members
Preferred Skills
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience
DevOps / CI/CD pipeline knowledge
Agile/Scrum methodology experience
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, BC
