This is a key leadership position overseeing the financial strategy and operations of our manufacturing plant in India.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial plan aligned with our business objectives.
• Accounting and Reporting: Maintain robust controls, ensure accurate accounting, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development and implementation of budgets, rolling forecasts, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Cost Optimisation and Analysis: Drive cost reduction initiatives, conduct profitability analysis, and provide data-driven decision support to inform business decisions.
• Tax Compliance and Billing: Oversee tax compliance, billing, receivables, and statutory filings.
• Banking and Finance: Manage banking relationships, secure funding, manage project finance, and make strategic investment decisions.
• SAP Finance Modules: Ensure data integrity and process efficiency across SAP finance modules.
• Risk Management and Predictive Modelling: Build predictive models to identify potential risks, flag them early, and propose corrective actions.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop a high-performance finance team.
Required Skills
• Chartered Accountant (CA / ICWA): 15-20 years of experience in plant and corporate finance.
• Indian Accounting Standards and Taxation: Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards and direct indirect taxation.
• US GAAP and Tax Compliance: Exposure to US GAAP and US tax compliance.
• SAP FICO and Excel/BI Tools: Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and advanced Excel or BI tools.
• FPA, Treasury, and Cost Control: Proven record in budgeting, FPA, treasury, and cost control.
• Stakeholder Management and Communication: Strong stakeholder management and clear, concise communication.
• Financial Policy Design: Ability to design and enforce financial policies under tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Funding and FX Risk Management: Experience securing low-cost funding and managing FX risk.
• Digital Finance Automation and Analytics: Working knowledge of digital finance automation and analytics platforms.
• MBA (Finance) or CIMA Qualification: MBA (Finance) or CIMA qualification.
