Role
The Senior Executive – Logistics & MIS will be responsible for managing logistics operations, transportation coordination, inventory movement tracking, and data-driven reporting (MIS). The role requires ensuring timely dispatches, maintaining high service levels, optimizing logistics costs, and generating accurate reports for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations
Monitor and manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries and dispatches.
Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth movement of goods.
Track shipment status, identify delays, and proactively resolve transportation issues.
Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance and maintain service level KPIs.
Handle reverse logistics, claims, shortages, and damaged material resolution.
Candidate should have strong knowledge of import/export procedures, regulatory compliance, and global supply chain operations
MIS & Reporting
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to logistics, dispatches, fill rate, freight cost, inventory movement, and service levels- .
Generate reports for management review and business decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
Good understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Dashboards).
Knowledge of logistics KPIs such as OTIF, fill rate, freight cost, inventory accuracy, TAT, and vehicle utilization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
4–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and MIS reporting.
Experience in FMCG, D2C, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce industry preferred.
