Role Description

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for plant employees, supervisors, and staff.

• Ensure adequate manpower planning and workforce availability to meet production requirements.

• Maintain harmonious employee and industrial relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and union interactions.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements including PF, ESI, Contract Labour Act, and other applicable legislation.

• Oversee attendance, leave management, shift scheduling, and payroll input coordination.

• Implement performance management processes, employee development plans, and succession planning initiatives.

• Drive employee engagement, welfare activities, and retention programs.

• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.

• Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives in collaboration with EHS teams.

• Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and management reports.

• Conduct HR audits and support internal and external compliance inspections.

• Partner with plant leadership to address workforce challenges and improve organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MSW, or equivalent qualification.

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.

Experience

• 3–10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Strong exposure to industrial relations and statutory compliance.
