About the Role
Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Employment Attorney to join our esteemed general liability group. With a strong litigation background and a passion for employment law, this individual will be responsible for handling complex wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and class actions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert guidance on labor and employment law matters
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities
Requirements:
• Admission to the State Bar of California and residency in California
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• 10+ years of legal experience, with a minimum of 5 years in labor and employment law and/or class action work
• First chair trial experience, with a minimum of 3-5 matters to verdict or near verdict
• Strong litigation background with experience handling wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and class actions
