Requirements:
• A master’s degree or higher in History, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong command of Social Studies content, concepts, and pedagogy for school-level education.
• Well-read, curious, and creative, with a broad interest in cultural, historical, geographical, and social knowledge streams.
• 5-8 years’ experience in developing Social Studies content for varied age groups, from primary to high school.
• Experience managing and executing educational content projects, particularly in Social Studies.
• Versatile in developing content across different publishing formats: print, digital, and online.
Responsibilities:
• Independently manage and oversee Social Studies educational book projects.
• Ensure Social Studies content meets publishing standards for accuracy, relevance, and educational value.
• Maintain grammatical and stylistic accuracy at every editorial stage.
• Collaborate on the visualization of drawings and illustrations appropriate for various Social Studies topics.
• Brief, direct, and coordinate with artists, designers, typesetters, and proofreaders to ensure content quality.
• Liaise with authors, freelancers, and consultants to align content with educational objectives.
• Guide and mentor junior editors, providing direction and support for content development.
• Script and guide the production of multimedia content, including instructional videos related to Social Studies.
• Organize audio recording sessions with voice actors for multimedia or digital projects.
• Prepare and supervise scripts for animated lessons, managing resources for effective project realization.
• Implement innovative strategies based on market feedback to create competitive educational products.
• Develop marketing and training materials based on Social Studies products for sales and outreach teams.
• Conduct training and orientation sessions for marketing teams and teachers to ensure effective content delivery.
