We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with a strong background in understanding complex data sources and their integration in a business context. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between data and actionable business insights, ensuring the quality and coherence of data for developing data warehouses, BI reports, and AI/ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis and Business Understanding: - Conduct thorough analysis of data sources to understand their structure, relevance and quality. - Map and align data sources with business processes, objectives, and strategies. - Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. - Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business decisions.
2. Data Integration and Quality Assurance:
– Define and oversee the integration of various data sources.
– Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems.
– Collaborate with developers to facilitate the creation of data warehouses.
– Assist in the design and development of BI reports and dashboards.
3. Technical Proficiency:
– Advanced skills in SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
– Experience with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau is appreciated.
– Ability to use SQL and BI tools to test data and their integrations.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
– Collaborate with various teams (IT, business units, developers) to ensure data needs are met.
– Communicate complex data concepts and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
– Participate in the development of AI/ML solutions by providing data expertise.
5. Continuous Improvement:
– Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in data analysis and BI tools.
– Continuously seek to improve data analysis processes and methodologies.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role. - Proven experience in understanding and integrating complex data sources in a business context. - Advanced skills in SQL and Microsoft Excel are mandatory. - Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau is highly beneficial. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
