The Senior Consultant position at Kroll involves providing support to the global valuation practice and developing a career in the real estate industry with a focus on the global real estate market. As a member of the Real Estate Valuation vertical, you will be responsible for valuing commercial real estate assets for investment funds and financial reporting purposes. The ideal candidate is a financial professional with a background in technical and/or financial studies and is a member of prestigious professional institutes such as MRICS, MAI, CFA, and Certified Real Estate Appraisers.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building relationships with Kroll offices worldwide, demonstrating regional knowledge, and fostering open communication channels. You should have a comprehensive understanding of various valuation approaches and their application to property types such as office, retail, multifamily, warehouse, and hotel. Additionally, you will assist in preparing presentations, engagement letters, proposals, time and fee estimates, and conducting real estate market analysis.The essential traits for this role include a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the US and global real estate market, a degree from an accredited institution, proficiency in tools like Argus Enterprise and MS Office, and expertise in real estate valuation approaches. You should also have experience in financial modeling, report writing, project management, and client communication.
