Senior Analyst - Infrastructure Advisory (BESS Expert)
Role Overview
Join Black & Veatch’s Global Advisory group to provide strategic and technical solutions for utility industries (Power, Oil & Gas, Water). You will focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Review: Lead design reviews, technology assessments, and sizing for BESS projects.
Due Diligence: Draft technical inputs for due diligence, construction, and operation monitoring reports.
Analysis: Review technical inputs in financial models and perform data crunching for renewable projects (Solar, Wind, BESS).
Consulting: Contribute to project delivery, risk identification, and client presentations.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years in technical due diligence or design review for battery energy storage.
Education: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Skills: Deep understanding of battery chemistry, techno-commercial contracts, and power infrastructure.
Competencies: Business acumen, data analysis, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
Work Details
Location: Mumbai or Pune.
Travel: Up to 100% depending on client needs.
