Auto Driveaway, one of the largest professional driveaway companies in the US, is seeking a dedicated, skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at National Headquarters in Lombard, IL. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting duties and other tasks necessary to maintain accurate and detailed accounting records. Services include fleet shipping and fleet management services; single vehicle "door-to-door driveaway" shipping; short-term and reconditioning services across all asset types. Role and Responsibilities

Data entry into multiple systems
General ledger maintenance
Preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
Work with other team members to efficiently carry out daily tasks
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA candidate a plus
Minimum 2-5 years accounting experience
Customer service oriented
Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage time and workload
Quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High attention to detail; able to methodically review the execution of procedures and identify issues
Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications, experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus Read more
