About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior UK Tax Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting, UK tax compliance, financial reporting and bookkeeping across our growing business and property-related operations.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, highly accurate and comfortable managing accounts from transaction level through to management accounts and UK tax compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesUK Tax & Compliance
• Prepare and review UK Self Assessment tax returns.
• Prepare and support Corporation Tax computations and CT600 submissions.
• Handle VAT returns, reconciliations and VAT-relatedUnderstand UK income tax, corporation tax, capital allowances and allowable expenses.
• Understand property-related taxation, including rental income and property expenses.
• Support tax planning and identify legitimate tax-efficiency opportunities.
• Deal with HMRC correspondence, enquiries and routine compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate tax calendars and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
• Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
• Support Making Tax Digital requirements and digital record-keeping.
Accounts & Management Reporting
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Produce profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Prepare cash-flow reports and forecasts.
• Complete bank, credit-card and control-account reconciliations.
• Review aged debtors and creditors.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and accounting records.
• Investigate discrepancies and correct accounting errors.Prepare year-end accounts and supporting schedules.
• Assist external accountants/auditors where required.
• Monitor financial performance and highlight unusual movements.
Pay: ₹17,114.80 - ₹75,000.00 per month
