KBW Financial has partnered with a consumer product manufacturer in the New Bedford area to identify a Senior Accountant / Plant Controller. Reporting to the CFO - this newly created role will be responsible for all accounting and finance at the Plant location. This is an on site position (5 days). Additional details include:
• Manage the GL and day to day accounting
• Cost Accounting
• AP and Purchase Orders
• AR and Invoicing
• Cash applications
• Sales orders and commissions tracking
• Production scheduling/costing
• Inventory management
• Forecasting and reporting
• Managing 2 staff
Requirements
• BS in Accounting or related
• 4+ years of accounting and close experience
• Manufacturing experience - ideally food
• Cost and inventory experience
• Intermediate Excel
• Supervisory experience
