Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Bangalore, India
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports To: Founders
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: 30,000 35,000 (In-hand)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting, compliance, and financial operations for a product-based business. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in inventory and cost accounting, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Handle inventory and cost accounting for product-based business models (manufacturing, jewellery, e-commerce, luxury retail).
• Ensure statutory compliance with Indian accounting standards (GST, TDS, Companies Act).
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain and optimize accounting software/ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Support founders in financial planning, budgeting, and strategy decisions.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable).
What Were Looking For:
• Proven accounting experience (manufacturing, jewellery, e-commerce, or luxury retail preferred).
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and compliance.
• Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards and regulations (GST, TDS, Companies Act).
• Proficient in accounting software & ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High integrity, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team leadership experience is a plus.
