Reed FE are always recruiting for SEND specialists who can support and deliver to learners aged 16-25 in further education. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences that help young adults achieve their educational and personal goals.
Pay Rate: £25.00 - £40.00 per hour
Location: London Various Locations
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Available
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
Support students with a range of SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and learning difficulties
Work collaboratively with support staff, parents/carers and external agencies where required
Essential Requirements for SEND Teaching opportunities
Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, QTS or equivalent)
Experience working with SEND learners aged 16-25
Enhanced DBS Certificate covering both the Adult and Children's Workforce (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare
