Position Overview:
As a Semi- Skilled Steel Work Labourer, you will play a key role in assisting our skilled steelworkers in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of steel Fabrications. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the loading, unloading, and moving of steel materials.
Prepare and clean steel components before / during fabrication.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ensure materials are handled and stored properly to avoid damage.
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers during installations and repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations at all times.
Report any safety hazards, injuries, or concerns to management promptly.
Requirements:
Previous experience in Steelwork or a similar semi-skilled labouring role is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods).
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly on the job.
A valid driver's license is essential
