Now, they’re on the lookout for a semi-senior accountant who’s passionate about technology, process improvement, and providing exceptional client service.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to work with a client-centric firm that values growth, support, and innovation. You’ll be a crucial part of a close-knit team, working alongside the client manager and interacting with clients from day one. As you progress, you may even have the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio!
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns for review
• Supporting clients with QuickBooks setup, training, and queries
• Creating management accounts and assisting in training junior team members
• Collaborating with your team to ensure deadlines are met
• Bringing fresh ideas to enhance client experience and streamline processes
What We’re Looking For
While skills matter, cultural fit is key! Ideal candidates will have:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar) and Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel)
• Familiarity with accounting software (TaxCalc is a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in an accountancy firm
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or qualified by experience
