As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
Control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures
Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate site contacts
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established response protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
