Job Description
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be an approachable resource for tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on the site.
Observe and report suspicious activities and/or incidents to appropriate personnel and document findings according to Allied Universal standards.
Assist in controlling access to the property by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and interacting professionally with tenants, guests, and contractors.
Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing guidance as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or rule violations through a visible presence and proactive communication with individuals on site.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
