ABOUT THE ROLE:


Location: Abbott St, Cairns
Casual Opportunities available
Weekday and weekend shifts available
Predominantly night shifts

Wilson Security is expanding in QLD, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.


This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.


These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.


DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:


Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors client
Gatehouse duties
Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security safety risk
Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
Providing support to tenants and Facilities
Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
Responding to emergency situations
Contractor management duties
Ad-hoc duties

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


Strong Customer Service Skills
Proactive and problem-solving mindset
Willing to support and step up as required into other roles
Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
Current First Aid CPR Certificate
