Job Description
Job Purpose:
Key purposes of the role will be to ensure overall credit quality of the portfolio managed by the individual in the wholesale segment (with max of 2-3 sectors mapped to each manager).
Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Providing independent risk view and recommendations on credit exposures in Wholesale segment above a particular threshold. Specialisation expected in 2-3 main sectors per manager.
• Developing inhouse research on core sectors, analysing internal reports and portfolio within the Bank in these sectors and supporting the Portfolio management team for Wholesale Bank.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and a self starter are important pre requisites for this role.

Process Management
• Closely monitor various sectors where the bank has exposures, and developments in these sector
• Develop a framework of Key Risk Indicators for monitoring each sector
• Responsible for assigning ratings to Industries within the sector and taking necessary rating actions for changes in the risk profile of the industry
• Actively challenge ratings assigned to borrowers in the specific sector by the rating analyst
• Based on these indicators we will Monitor Banks portfolio in the sector and highlight changes in risk profile to the senior management and the RPMC
• Provide inputs for Development of Early warning triggers specific to the sector
• Provide inputs and actively participate in building rating models specific to the sector
Educational Qualifications:
Key Skills:
• CA/ MBA in finance
Should have worked in credit underwriting, and have knowledge of industry sectors and regulatory framework
Experience Required (examples listed below)
• Minimum Banking experience in years- 6-8 years (preferably with minimum 3 years in credit/risk or a clear inclination to do analytical work in the domain of credit risk)
Major Stakeholders (intra team and cross functional stakeholders, who would need to be interacted with for discharging duties)
• Wholesale credit
• Wholesale business
• Compliance
• Internal Audit
• Credit Administration
• CPRA/Ratings team within Integrated Risk Management
