Receptionist / Administration Assistant (Part-Time) Join Our Friendly Family-Owned Metalwork Business We are a well-established, family-owned metal fabrication business looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist / Administration Assistant to become an important part of our team. This is a part-time position, covering for employee who will be leaving on maternity leave. Working 3–4 days per week (flexible) from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (times are also flexible) Great for parent if need to work around school times. It is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in an office environment, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in staying organised. Key Responsibilities Answering and directing incoming phone calls Greeting customers and managing front desk operations General administrative and office support Ordering materials and liaising with suppliers Preparing quotes, paperwork, and filing documentation Assisting with accounts duties, including invoicing, data entry, and general accounts administration Supporting the team with day-to-day office operations About You We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience in a receptionist or administration role Is friendly, professional, and customer-focused Has strong organisational and time management skills Is confident using Microsoft Office and general office software Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Can work independently while also being a supportive team member Has good attention to detail and the ability to multitask Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software is an advantage but not essential What We Offer A welcoming, supportive family business environment A varied role where no two days are the same Flexible part-time hours (3–4 days per week, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm) On-the-job training and support To apply, please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you'd be a great fit for our team.
