Role Description The Scientific Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for developing engaging, accurate, and accessible content related to astronomy, rocketry, space engineering, and STEM education. Day-to-day tasks include researching complex scientific topics, translating them into clear narratives for students, educators, and the public, and creating content for presentations, learning modules, digital platforms, and outreach campaigns. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and program leads to design educational materials for flagship programs, including interactive scripts, visual aids, and learning resources. The Scientific Content Creator will also support event content, marketing communication, and documentation of ongoing research and student projects, ensuring alignment with Aerione Bharat’s mission and educational standards. Regular on-site coordination with the Edu-BOSE lab and Space Engineering Research Center teams is expected to capture real-time insights and turn them into compelling learning experiences.
Qualifications
• Strong scientific communication and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex aerospace and STEM concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience creating educational content such as lesson plans, modules, presentations, or scripts for workshops, exhibitions, or digital learning platforms.
• Background in physics, astronomy, aerospace engineering, or a related STEM field; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Ability to conduct independent research, synthesize information from scientific sources, and maintain high standards of accuracy and evidence-based content.
• Proficiency in structuring content for different formats (print, video, interactive media, online platforms) and collaborating closely with design, teaching, and technical teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and adapt content to program needs.
• Comfort working in an on-site educational and laboratory environment, with an interest in observing experiments and translating them into learning materials.
• Prior experience in science outreach, popular science writing, curriculum development, or edtech content creation is an advantage.
