We are seeking a Science Technician to join a large 11–18 secondary school in a North London from January 2026.

The school has a strong reputation locally, with a thriving Science faculty, good behaviour and a friendly staff team. The laboratories are well equipped, and the school values practical work as a key part of the science curriculum. Staff wellbeing and teamwork are central to the school’s ethos.
The Role
• Position: Science Technician
• Location: North London
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
You will:
• Prepare equipment, materials and solutions for KS3–KS5 science lessons.
• Support the safe set-up and clearing away of practicals.
• Maintain stock levels, order resources and help manage the prep room.
• Ensure laboratories and equipment are kept clean, safe and organised.
• Support the science staff with demonstrations and practical activities when required.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a laboratory setting (school, college or industry) is advantageous.
• Good understanding of lab safety and handling chemicals/equipment.
• Organised, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
• A team player with a calm, flexible approach.
