A high-performing and academically ambitious Sixth Form College in the London Borough of Barnet is seeking a reliable, knowledgeable, and dedicated Science Technician to join its outstanding Science faculty.
Job Overview
Our client is recruiting a Science Technician to start in January 2026. This respected Sixth Form College is known for its excellent A-Level outcomes, exceptional laboratory facilities, and strong pastoral support for both students and staff. Science subjects — including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics — have exceptionally high uptake, and the department is central to the college’s academic identity.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality A-Level practical science. Responsibilities include preparing experiments, organising specialist equipment, maintaining laboratory safety, and ensuring teachers have the resources required for outstanding lessons.

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
