We are offering exactly that...We have a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us in the role of Science Technician at Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy from September 2026. Responsible for the smooth 'behind the scenes' operation of the science department, our successful candidate will provide necessary support to our teaching staff from the get-go!
Our Technicians play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our faculties so it is essential that our successful candidate is confident in providing technical assistance and student support in a classroom environment within this subject area. This role would suit a candidate starting their career or interested in progressing to a senior role (appropriate coaching and training will be provided). The successful candidate will provide technical assistance from Key Stage 3 through to and including Post-16. All specialisms and levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Working hours are negotiable for the right applicant. We support flexible working and are happy to consider job-share opportunities for candidates seeking a part-time role.
