A private school in Salalah, Oman, is inviting applications for the position of
Primary Science Teacher
for the upcoming academic year. The school is seeking a versatile and dynamic educator capable of
teaching science including physics, chemistry, and biology
while supporting the academic development of primary-level students.
Location:
Salalah, Oman
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Science to primary-level students, covering basic concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans, classroom activities, and teaching materials.
• Conduct simple science experiments and demonstrations suitable for primary students.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology / General Science).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
• Ability to teach integrated science across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology concepts.
• Female candidates, age not above 40 years.
• Good English communication skills.
• IELTS certification required (can be completed after the interview).
• International or GCC teaching experience will be an added advantage.
