About the Role:
Are you a proactive, enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting students and a flexible work approach? PLC Sydney is looking for dedicated School Assistants to join our vibrant community, assisting across all areas of the school from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, with a particular focus on our Boarding House.
These are full-time positions that offer a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our school life. You'll need to be available for early starts, reflecting the dynamic nature of the boarding school environment. Additionally, your support will be invaluable for excursions, which may occasionally occur on weekends.
For the right candidates, a live-in option with on-site accommodation is available.
These exciting positions commence as soon as possible and will conclude on 4 December 2026, with the possibility to extend.
Candidates with a nursing or teaching background would be highly regarded.
As our ideal candidate, you'll possess:
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance Number (or be willing to obtain)
A full clean driver's licence
A valid First Aid certificate (or be willing to obtain)
A genuine 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to tackle any task
A proven ability to be a team player, collaborating effectively with staff and students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring and empathetic approach to student welfare
