Scaffold Supervisor – SRG Global New Zealand
About the Role
SRG Global New Zealand is seeking a Scaffold Supervisor to lead scaffolding crews across construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for ensuring scaffolding operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with New Zealand regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate scaffolding teams, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
Oversee the erection, alteration, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.
Ensure scaffolding work meets project specifications, engineering requirements, and safety standards.
Promote a strong health and safety culture by conducting toolbox talks, inspections, and hazard assessments.
Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to support project schedules.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and other trades to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and site activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Scaffolder with supervisory or team leadership experience.
Relevant New Zealand scaffolding qualifications and certifications.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, safe work practices, and NZ health and safety requirements.
Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and plans.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
