What is the objective of this role?
To develop garment samples as per design requirements and ensure they are stitched accurately with the right fit, finish, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Stitch development samples, fit samples, and proto samples as per given specifications.
Understand design sketches, measurements, and sample requirements.
Work closely with Designers, Pattern Masters, and the NPD team.
Suggest improvements in garment construction and stitching methods.
Ensure samples are completed within timelines.
Maintain high-quality stitching and finishing standards.
Handle different types of fabrics and garment categories.
Support fitting sessions and make necessary alterations.
Ensure samples are production-friendly and feasible to manufacture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Sample Master in the garment industry.
Good knowledge of garment construction and stitching techniques.
Experience in handling woven and knit garments.
Ability to understand measurements, patterns, and sample specifications.
Good attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
