Sales Promotion Officer
Job Description
Overall to ensure we have the best market presence when compared to key opposition.
Specifically:
o Facings.
o Shelf location.
o Pricing and ticketing.
o Price promotions and price promotional frequency.
o Stock rotation.
o Plentiful stock on shelf.
Identify market opportunities by analyzing trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Advise on strategy development to support pricing, promotion, and positioning of the organization's products and services.
Coordinate and implement marketing plans to drive product awareness and maximize market research.
Tidy and clean products displayed presentably.
Resolve in a timely manner any issues that might impact sales volume.
Resolve in a timely manner all issues and challenges that impact best shelf presence.
Report to your manager in a timely manner all issues that you can't resolve that impact best shelf presence.
Send photos and verbal report into the required software/documents
National Travel to visit stores as needed.
Conduct professional sales presentations (sell ins) of the company’s products/services, as required.
Develop on-going relationships with all relevant store staff and continually maintain a professional image of the company.
Look for new opportunities to increase sales volumes.
Report back back on all relevant market opposition product trends.
Ensure follow up by passing leads to Managers with calls-to-action, and appropriate information needed.
Maintain professionalism and outstanding customer service at all times to portray the company in a positive manner.
Adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the order process and all other relevant systems that impact Best Shelf Presence.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Relevant business management degree
NZ Driver's license.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in sales and marketing roles preferably FMCG
Competent in MS office programs
Good report writing in excel and power point formats
Flexibility to travel as needed nationally
Experience in sales, marketing, communications, or public relations.
Experience in writing and proofreading marketing materials.
Experience with managing websites and social media.
Good level computer literacy.
Confidence to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Sound organizational and planning skills.
