Job Description - Sales Officer (SO) General Trade
Industry - Personal Care / FMCG
Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Officer (SO) with strong experience in General Trade (GT) within the Personal Care / FMCG segment. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing distributors, and ensuring strong market execution in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle and manage distributor operations effectively
• Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory
• Ensure product availability and visibility across retail outlets
• Expand market coverage and onboard new retailers
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers
• Ensure timely stock replenishment and liquidation
Key Requirements
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in General Trade (GT)
• Experience in Personal Care / FMCG industry preferred
• Strong distributor handling experience
• Good knowledge of the local market and territory
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
Location: As per business requirement
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
