Job Description
• Strategic Market Expansion: Identify and enter new international markets (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia) by analyzing cultural buying behaviors and local regulatory landscapes.
• Revenue & P&L Ownership: Drive annual revenue targets and manage the sales Profit & Loss (P&L), focusing on both top-line growth and key efficiency metrics like Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
• B2C & B2B Partnerships: Build a dual-growth engine by driving direct-to-consumer (B2C) enrollments and forging strategic B2B partnerships with universities, schools, and corporate L&D heads.
• Sales Enablement & Training: Create "sales playbooks"—including scripts and email sequences—and lead large, high-velocity inside sales teams.
• Marketing Alignment: Partner with the marketing function to optimize lead quality and ensure brand consistency across global digital channels.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to track funnel movement, conversion rates, and sales forecasts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Experience: 8–15 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the EdTech or International Education sector.
• Leadership: Proven ability to scale sales teams (sometimes up to 300+ members) and build a performance-driven culture.
• Communication: Exceptional cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English is mandatory, and additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical Prowess: High proficiency in data analytics to optimize funnel efficiency and productivity per counselor.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is required; an MBA from a top-tier institution is often strongly preferred.
